I love the look and the quality. It feels very soild and heavy build. You can store the 3 drawing temples at the back. Easy to clean (I mean it’s easy to move the eraser left and right. clean good at one pass). Cute music note and star shape stamps, but not easy to handle and they are too big to store on the side of the frame. You should take the stamps down when you draw.
The volume is TV loud and no volume control. Can’t believe a tiny speaker is so loud. Sound good but too loud to listen. A on/off buttom for the music is at the back. When it is at On setting, if you push the tip of the pen down, the music will keep going.
I would give 3.5 star for a total use of it. It is 5 star for us because we got it at a discount store cheap and only want a larger Doodle drawing board. Cool looking and easy dawing. Love the drawing temples also.

My kids (1 1/2 and 4) love magna doodles, and the oldest one’s a huge Little Einsteins fan, so this was a big hit for christmas. The stensils are a bit lame, but the kids don’t mind.
The one big drawback with this toy, however, is the volume. I have NEVER heard a toy so loud, and it ruins much of the expirience. Desperately needs a volume control – even after I’ve taped over the speaker. Also, the feature that makes the music pause and continue every time you lift the “pen” is extremely annoying – listening to Vivaldi in two-seond-intervals on/off can kill anybody’s taste for classical music. A shame, really, ’cause the idea was good…
